The Coriander chutney , as the name suggest has Coriander as a main ingredient. Green chilies , ginger and garlic make it mildly hot. Cumin seeds give it extra flavor. Lemon juice imparts a slight tangy taste and also helps the chutney to retain its green color.

  • 2-3 green Chilies
  • 2-3 cloves of Garlic
  • 1/2 inch piece of Ginger

  • Salt to taste
Method:
  1. Clean the coriander leaves , keep the tender stems also . Wash them thoroughly.

  2. Place the washed Coriander leaves and tender stems , peeled ginger and garlic, green Chilies, Cumin seeds and salt in a grinder jar and grind to a paste.

  3. In the end add the lemon juice and pulse again to get a smooth paste. Add more lemon juice or water to make the chutney of desired consistency. Check for seasoning and add more salt or lemon juice as required.

   4. Serve the chutney with snacks of your choice. Refrigerate the remaining chutney in a clean and dry jar with a lid and use as per need.
